The user interface presents a set of simple and easy to understand controls. All you have to do is type in a host name or IP address, choose an operation and click a button to start it. The application can be set to perform a traceroute, for the specified host, which is its primary function, but it can also ping the host, scan for addresses and ports on a network and more. A few specific tweaks can be made for each operation. For example, if you wish to ping a host, you can set a higher or lower ping count and choose between a standard ping and a flood.
